Brunch Beat: 8/24/13
- Cascabel Taqueria (1538 Second Ave.; 2799 Broadway) has revamped its brunch menu, with new additions including the Breakfast Burrito (egg, chorizo, fingerling potatoes, chihuahua cheese, oyster mushrooms) and Carnitas Benny ((house-made griddled corn bread, slow roasted Berkshire pork butt, poached farm fresh eggs, chipotle hollandaise sauce). With an entrée diners can also take advantage of a two-for-one drink special!
- Thrillist got a look into The Meatball Shop‘s new brunch, which begins today, at the Upper East Side location (1462 Second Ave.). Balls Benedict, anyone?
- New taco spot Sembado (432 E. 13th St.) offers brunch with a complimentary glass of sangria.
- Enduro (919 Third Ave.), which will serve weekend brunch, opens in Midtown on Monday.
