Brunch Beat: Best of fall brunch

By on October 4, 2011

There’s a chill in the air. Halloween candy fills the shelves. The leaves are changing colors. Brunch Gang is excited for fall, and with the change in season comes new brunch spots!

Eater NY has done the work for you, listing 15 hot NYC restaurants now serving brunch! Notables on the list include places we’ve mentioned in previous Beats, like The Dutch, Jimmy’s No. 43, Red Rooster and Union Square Cafe.

Ngam Restaurant (99 3rd Ave.) didn’t make the list, but with 4 1/2 stars on Yelp, they don’t need the press! And now you can brunch with a friend at the Thai haunt in the East Village for just $30. The Gilt City NY deal comes with a welcome cocktail, two entrées, one side to share and two brunch drinks (choice of spicy bloody Mary or strawberry lemongrass bellini). Chef Hong Thaimee serves up an eclectic menu with dishes such as black sticky rice with kabucha pumpkin custard and a coconut waffle with chicken wings and mandarin ginger jam.

Don’t forget to check out our own list of NYC brunch spots. We’ve covered all the bases, so just pick a neigborhood and find a restaurant!
