Brunch Beat: Brunch-filled weekend on the horizon

By on June 17, 2011

Kick off the weekend right with brunch at Mulberry Project (149 Mulberry St.), where you can sip on a bloody Mary (they’re known for theirs) and enjoy a dish of locally-sourced ingredients from their ever-changing menu.

Gilt City has got two deals cooking to satisfy your brunch fix. If you’re willing to spend a bit more on your morning meal, check out Gaby Restaurant at Sofitel Hotel (44 W. 45th St.). They’re offering a three-course brunch for two for $110 at the French restaurant. You may be forking over more dough, but you get beaucoup in return, including three courses, French pastries, cofee/tea/hot chocolate, juice and a bottle of champagne. One catch: The deal is redeemable on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-2:30 p.m. only.

To get more bang for your buck, buy the boozy brunch for two at The Mason Jar (43 E. 30th St.). For $28, you will be delighted with two entrées, two sides and unlimited Bloody Marys, mimosas or domestic draft beers from their vast brew list. You must redeem the deal on a Saturday or Sunday by Sept. 13.

Have a great weekend, fellow brunchers, and brunch on!
