By on June 21, 2011

Imagine an adult version of recess — complete with a DJ, champagne popsicles and seven courses of brunch bites! Welcome to Dance. Party. Brunch., a mid-day event happening in Nolita (233 Mott St. at Prince) this Saturday, June 25, and again on Saturday, July 9. The fun-filled brunch  — brought to you by food blogger and home cook Petrit Husenaj from My Social Chef — will also include hula-hoop contests, dance-offs, hopscotch and bocce ball under the sun in the backyard of an old schoolhouse. Water is unlimited, but you’ll have to pay for concoctions with alcohol. Tickets are now available for $45.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed brunch experience, check out Groupon’s deal for a ticket to Sunday jazz brunch at Blue Note (131 W. 3rd St.). For $15, enjoy a meal and drink as your ears are dazzled by arrangments from such artists as Frank Kimbrough Trio and Paul Bollenback. Use your Groupon on Sundays between June 26 and August 28 at 12:30 or 2:30 p.m.

Happy first day of summer, and brunch on!
